UP monogramUnreasonable Procurement
Outsourced procurement · Backing British & local suppliers

We are
unreasonably
good at procurement.

We believe in doing things differently. In being unreasonable. Hospitality is all about people – memorable, unreasonable hospitality is about the experience. Procurement should be the same. That's Unreasonable Procurement.

Be Unreasonable.
Our Team.
Our Suppliers.
All for our Clients.

What we believeWe put our team and our suppliers first, so our clients have unreasonably great supply chains. Partners for the long haul, through the good times and the bad.
Why it mattersInflation punishes fragmented, sub-scale buying. We get ahead of it, with insight bespoke to your menus, your SKUs, your pricing.
How we behaveA share of every fee goes back to suppliers as volumes grow. Everyone's incentives point the same way: yours.
Powered by TechnologyTechnology in all the right places, powering sharp insights and onsite systems: giving time back, saving you money, and making sure you have an unreasonably good supply chain.

One partner. Every category.

01

What we are

A local, British supply-chain partner. We manage your Food, Retail, Drinks and Indirect spend end to end, negotiating with a best-in-class supplier network and connecting farmers and producers directly to your kitchens.

All categories, one partner.

02

Why it works

We have seen what "local" really means: growing operators can not only support local economies, but also reap the reward of fantastic product and produce.

Our fee is transparent, and shared back to suppliers as volume and service grows.

03

Suppliers as partners

Suppliers matter to us as much as clients do. Our fee is transparent to them too, rewarding the partnership, not just the transaction.

For British farmers and producers, that means a genuine route into growing operators, championed by a team that speaks hospitality.

Radical transparency

How our fee works: no hidden margins.

Step 01Supplier price

We negotiate the best cost for the right products for you, through our strong supplier partnerships.

Step 02+ UP fee

We add our UP fee, but only once we have found savings or improved products and services. This fee will vary by product and supplier. We share this total number with you every month, so you always know where we stand.

Step 03Supplier invoice

You pay your usual supplier invoice, with visibility of exactly what you pay.

Step 04Supplier remits

The supplier returns our fee, and shares in it as volumes grow.

One deliberately unreasonable standard of service sits behind it all, for clients and suppliers alike.

Follow the food. Backing Local.
